The "paleolithic," "stone age," "cave man," or maybe "neanderthal" diet plan plans have been around for some time and there are a number of publications which have been developed on the subject.
Generally, with a few small constructive criticisms, I would think they are on point, and can benefit your health and definitely your weight loss efforts.

A "Paleo Diet" or perhaps "cave man" diet is in fact really like the bodybuilding diets I often suggest and this is most definitely a great option get incredibly lean, very quickly.
On physique competition diet programs (bodybuilding, fitness, figure, etc), you exit the lean proteins, lean meats, seeds and nuts, the green veggies (fibrous carbs), and also some fresh fruit in the diet, while reducing or removing ALL processed foods and alpilean video (Full Statement) Several of the food grains and starches. (usually the milk products go too).
When it comes to optimum fat loss, the removal or reduction of grains as well as calorie dense starchy carbs in favor of lean protein & vegetables will definitely help speed the weight loss process - even if that is simply as it decreases caloric density of the food consumption, however, there are other factors.
Lean protein (fish and meat) + fat that are good & nuts + a lot of green veggies + some berry = a lean body!
And that is basically what the "paleolithic" diets recommend, because the concept there is eating like our "stone age" ancestors did - before there was McDonalds, coca Cola and Other junk food.
The premise would be that since our genetic code (the human genome) has changed under 0.02 % in 40,000 years, this means that our bodies are still expecting to obtain the same foods and nutrition they had been getting 40,000 years ago.
